Is financial assistance available to those wanting to attend the conference?

Financial assistance, based on the availability of funds, is available to MSD families in the form of travel reimbursement grants. Click HERE to learn more and to complete and submit an application.

How much is registration?

$50.00 – Science Day Only: Registration for 1 for August 2
$85.00 – Full Conference: Registration for 1 for August 2-3
$30.00 – Science Day Only – Student: Student Registration for 1 for August 2
$51.00 – Full Conference – Student: Student Registration for 1 for August 2-3
$1.00 – MSD Family Member

What meals and breaks are included in the conference registration fee?

During both main conference days (Aug 2-3), a light breakfast, box lunch, and coffee-tea-water breaks will be provided.

Who is invited to attend the Welcoming Reception on August 1?

Any conference attendees arriving on or before August 1 are welcome to join us for the Welcoming Reception. There will be an opening night reception from 6-9pm on the rooftop deck/bar area of the conference hotel, The Study at University City. Please feel free to join us for a time of connection and networking. Be on the lookout for details and RSVP information.

If I register and can no longer attend, may I receive a refund?

Registration is refundable until 30 days before the conference. Please contact conference@unitedmsdfoundation.org to discuss your situation.

Where is the 2024 International MSD Scientific and Family Conference held?

The conference will be on the campus of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, in the Hub for Clinical Collaboration building located at 3500 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA. For those interested, there is a block of rooms reserved for conference guests at The Study at University City, a short walk from the conference location. The room block will be held until July 11th. There are two room options, each at $189 per night (plus applicable taxes), and parking is available for an additional fee. To make your reservation, please contact The Study at (215) 387-1400 (or 011 1 215 387 1400 for those outside of the United States) and mention “United MSD Foundation” or use this custom reservation link.

What if I need ADA accommodations or have a food allergy?

If you require ADA accommodations or have a medical condition that requires a special diet, please contact us at conference@unitedmsdfoundation.org at least 30 days prior to the event date so that the requested arrangement(s) can be made. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
