Third-Party Event Fundraising
Third-party fundraising is any type of fundraising event or program conducted by an individual, group, or organization where the United MSD Foundation is the beneficiary. Fundraising can be done in the form of a special event, a cause marketing program, or as proceeds of sale.
There are many programs and services at the United MSD Foundation that your donation can support. If you have a passion for a specific area, we will work with you to ensure your donation goes directly to that area.
Ways United MSD Foundation Can Help With Your Fundraising
- Provide consultation on fundraisers and events
- Provide a letter of authorization to validate the authenticity of the event and its organizers
- Provide and approve use of our logo, provided certain criteria are met
- Help you select an area of the United MSD Foundation for your donation to support
- Coordinate check presentations
- Send you United MSD Foundation branded giveaways
We are here to support you. However, there are some services we are unable to provide: Our tax exemption number, Insurance or liability coverage, Mailing list of donors and/or vendors, Organization stationery, Funding or reimbursement of your expenses, Publicity (e.g. newspaper, radio, television), Guaranteed attendance of Foundation staff, board, or patients
