Stock and Crypto Giving
Donating a charitable gift of stock or mutual fund shares is a great way to support a cure for MSD while receiving an end-of-the-year tax break. Stock or mutual fund donations are particularly attractive if they have increased in value since the beginning of this calendar year—you will receive a charitable deduction for the value of the donation, and you will not have to pay any capital gains tax on the increased value.
Do you have cryptocurrency? Your tax-deductible gift of crypto is converted to U.S. dollars so we can put it to work toward finding a cure for MSD.
Matching Gifts
You can double—or even triple! —your gift without paying a penny more. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. These programs allow our donors to leverage their generosity to make a greater impact at the United MSD Foundation.
